Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

FutureLove is built around a simple privacy promise: your private interest should stay private unless the other person also chooses you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how the product is designed to protect that promise.

Information we collect

FutureLove uses LinkedIn sign-in to create and verify accounts. Depending on the permissions granted by LinkedIn, we may store your name, email address, LinkedIn account identifier, LinkedIn username, public profile URL, and profile image URL.

When you add someone privately, we store the LinkedIn profile URL and username you submitted. We also store matches, notifications, account creation dates, and technical tokens needed to keep you signed in.

How private likes work

A private like is visible only to you. The other person is not notified, shown your name, or told that you added them unless they also add your LinkedIn profile. If both sides add each other, FutureLove creates a mutual match and shows a notification to both accounts.

How we use information

What we do not do

Account deletion

You can request or perform account deletion from the app. Deleting your account removes your account details, access tokens, and private likes. Historical notifications may keep a limited snapshot of match details so that another user’s past notification remains understandable.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect FutureLove data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but the app is intentionally limited in scope so we store only what is needed for matching and account operation.
